The Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is a full-size pickup truck that’s been around since the late 1990s. For 2021, this legendary vehicle has undergone a few changes to improve its design and usability as a truck with as lots of room as possible.

The body of the Silverado 1500 has been widened just under an inch, and it’s about half an inch longer than its predecessor. The fenders have also been extended to allow for bigger tires, which translates into better off-road performance and more capability in dirty conditions.

A new, optional powertrain is available. A bi-fuel version of the Silverado 1500 allows users to switch between methane and diesel fuels without any major modifications needed.

The latest version of advanced, stop/start technology is used to help save fuel. When the truck’s engine isn’t needed to power the wheels, it automatically shuts down and then restarts itself as soon as the driver takes his or her foot off the brake pedal.

A new automatic gearbox has been added. It uses a continuously variable transmission (CVT), which is an advanced type of transmission that can mimic the smooth and efficient feeling of a manual transmission.
